Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational
The four-day tournament and celebration, which boasts incredible parties, A-list entertainment and competitive golf, is recognized as one of the best events of its kind, having attracted sports legends including Julius “Dr. J” Erving, Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, and Michael Phelps and entertainment personalities such as Chevy Chase, Don Cheadle, Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell and Mark Wahlberg in years past. The 2014 event beneficiaries include Make-A-Wish®, the James R. Jordan Foundation, Cats Care, Keep Memory Alive and Opportunity Village.
Founded in 2001, the MJCI was one of celebrity golf's
most popular events and raised more than $7 million for charity.
The final four years of the MJCI were held at Las Vegas’ world-renowned Shadow Creek, which opened its doors to the public for the first time and was hosted by ARIA Resort & Casino. Prior to that, the tournament was held at the One&Only Ocean Club, Paradise Island, The Bahamas.

I want to thank all of our celebrity guests, sponsors, volunteers and the fans for their participation in the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational. Over the tournament’s 13 years, dozens of celebrities joined me for fierce competition on the golf course and to participate in fun events – all in the name of charity. I am proud to say that we raised more than $7 million for a variety of worthy causes. It has been a true honor to host the MJCI. Thanks for the great memories. – Michael Jordan
